Michael Allen: Michael is an international speaker and consultant to virtually every business sector over his more than thirty-five years of research and development in technology-based instruction. You may know him as the founder of Macromedia or from his book "Michael Allen's Guide to E-Learning." He is currently CEO and Chairman of, what else, Allen Interactions Inc.
John Beck: Co-author of Got Game. A great book that explains, from a research-base, the characteristics of the gamer generation.
Pam Berman: Pam in an instructional designer who is concerned about assessiblity issues and has a web site that explains some concepts dealing with accessing web pages.
Regina Bobak: Regina is an instructional designer at the Institute for Interactive Technologies and is pursuing her Doctorate Nova. She is a distance educator as well as a distance learner. She is focused her dissertation on rapid prototyping. Interesting work.
Jane Bozarth : Jane is is North Carolina's self-appointed "E-Learning Goddess". Her specialty is in finding ways to cut the high costs of e-learning. She is author of E-Learning Solutions on a Shoestring, published by Pfeiffer. A great book for practical tips on creating e-learning within a budget.
Kevin Kruse: Kevin is the founder of e-LearningGuru.com, a great site for learning about the e-learning industry from a well connected source. Good "go to" information. Kevin is also the author of a book titled "Technology-based Training" which contains good information about e-learning. I conduct interviews for Kevin and have posted a number on his site. They are some interesting people with great insights.
Tom King: Tom has a variety of skills and knowledge in the area of e-learning. He specializes in integration of AICC (CMI/LMS and PENS) and ADL SCORM (run-time content communication) specifications. Proficient with Adobe products including: Authorware, Breeze, Captivate, Dreamweaver and Flash. He also has a great blog with very handy information. You will want to check it out.
Stan Malcom: Stan is interested in connecting people to ideas, each other, and technology. He has a great template for RFPs on his web site.
Ryan Reilly: Ryan is a talented student who has created a really interesting game to teach basic factual knowledge...the Captials of the United States. Check out his game
Marc Rosenberg: Marc is a leader in the world of training, organizational learning, e-learning, knowledge management and performance improvement. I have worked with Marc at a conference and have had many great discussions with him concerning learning and e-learning. He is an asset to the field.
Will Thalheimer: Will is the founder of Work-Learning Research which is a firm that is bringing research-based knowledge to the learning-and-performance field. His work attempts to narrow the gap between research and practice. It is all based on good, solid research. A web location worth checking out.
Al Unrath: Al provides a variety of web-based services to a number of organizations as well as teaches others about the art and science of web design.
